A good time to complete the Ultramurph would be to do it in 8 hours and 30 minutes and using only 10 sessions.

MURPH is possibly the most popular Crossfit workout and one of the best ways to test your fitness by seeing how long it takes you to complete it.

At Extreme Workouts we wanted to do our own version of MURPH by multiplying it by 10.

Although the ideal would be to perform 10 sessions of a MURPH trying to improve time, you know that here we leave you total freedom, so distribute the exercises as you want.

Murph is a popular workout in memory of Michael Murphy (U.S. Navy) who died in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005.

Air squat

For a repetition to be valid, it must meet the following minimum requirements.

Pull-up

  • Your chin must be above the bar.

Push up

  • The hands should be slightly separated from the width of the shoulders at chest height.
  • Place your feet hip-width apart and keep them parallel.
  • The lower back should not be curved excessively.

Air squat

The hip should be lower than the knee in the bottom position (break parallel).
